Chinese Casinos Future in Hong Kong
The chinese casinos would be considered by the government during the next few years and it would consider allowing the organization of casinos combined with hotel and conference facilities to increase Hong Kong's tourism trade as reported by out offshore reporter Nil Tezan, special Chinese casinos reporter.
Many Asian countries are considering allowing the institution of Asian casinos in the past few years but few had managed to go through the legislation process needed to empower such decision. Many Chinese figures are in fact disappointed that Singapore has moved much earlier than Hong Kong in allowing the setting up of casinos as a boost to tourism, "when would we see a Chinese casino in Hong Kong?" Asked Howard Young, a Liberal Party legislator.
Young, who stands for the sightseeing sector in the Legislative Council added and said that the Liberal Party had recommended former Chief Executive Tung Cheehwa last autumn of 2005 to soar the design of allowing Chinese casinos in Hong Kong during his annual policy speech in February.
